Brian's nervousness slowly turned into dread as the two grown women argued over him (literally, damn his height). The accusatory and interrogative words flinging from the brunette to his redheaded babysitter was almost as hard to listen to as the returning attempts to explain her reasoning. He kind of understood why Emily hadn't mentioned it to Lena before. Aside from the fact that the issue barely lasted a month in all, Tracer had been in the midst of a series of highly important missions at the time . Emily hadn't wanted to put something (in comparison) else to niggle in the back of her mind while she was on the field. Although, he figured she probably should have mentioned it after Tracer had a few days off- even if the issue had 'disappeared.'

His face screwed up slightly as he could spot the tears slowly building in Emily's eyes as the argument continued. He grit his teeth when even Lena's voice starts to crack. His mind flitted about possible choices he could make- especially with Tracer's grip slowly tightening on his shoulders. Luckily, it wasn't exactly painful yet. He needed to draw their attention to something else until they calmed down. He couldn't handle much more of their deteriorating emotions considering his OWN emotional attachment to them (more Emily than Lena, but he was dreading the fact that even that was growing). Seriously, these two...

"-why didn't you tell me?!" That was all Lena. He couldn't blame her. When your loved one holds something back like this, it almost feels like they don't trust you.

"It wasn't that bad!" Also not... Completely wrong. From her point of view, at least. She'd probably only noticed one or two things- enough to realize that something was off. He'd had a bit of a better view on the topic for various reasons. The ONLY things she knew that really counted as creepy from the incident was being followed, and that the man had collected some of her hair for God knows what. That on it's own could wait for Tracer to have gotten a vacation before bringing up. But he knew better (or worse, as the case may be), and he knew that the matter should have definitely been brought up ASAP with the time-reliant World-Class Hero.

"Still-!" Tracer could only get a word out, before Emily interrupted her, tears just about ready to spill- this had likely been the harshest argument they've had in some time.

"Its not a problem anymore!" That statement was absolutely true. Brian had made certain of that. It ALSO sounded like the perfect queue to distract them. Now how to-...

"You're welcome for that, by the way." It came out as flat and bored sounding as ever. Just like anyone would when sarcastically responding to an unsaid 'thank you.' It definitely got them to stop, and look down to stare at him. His brain immediately started cussing out his loose tongue, even as his hands slapped across the orifice.

That was NOT what he was supposed to say.

But... it got the job done, at any rate. They'd completely stopped arguing, at least. It did his heart good, even as it plummeted while the two slowly comprehended what he'd let slip. He prepared what little composure he could muster as he felt fingers slowly clench tighter onto his shoulders. Unfortunately, the tears didn't disappear from Emily's eyes- although the look of comprehensive horror would probably look hilarious from someone else's point of view (he immediately shut out the thought of the adorably dressed Korean less than ten feet behind them in his jacket. Not the time, hormones!).

The familiar feeling of Emily grabbing his face (only slightly less gentle than usual) and forcing him to look into her wide eyes made him sink back into Tracer's firm breas- grasp. Cold sweat sprouted up on the side of his face at the look in her eyes. This would probably be about as bad as Hana yesterday (shunt thoughts of said Korean once more). He understood, though: After all, Emily was probably just as protective of him as he was of her. He tended to do stupider things, from her point of view, though.

"What. Did. You. DO?!" Her voice was trembling, clearly trying to reign in the sheer amount of horror, dread, anger, and various other emotions involved in her thoughts. Well, at least she was angry at him and not Lena anymore.

Brian's thoughts immediately flashed back through the events of the Incident. Images of a clump of her hair, a dirty journal, and a stash of highly questionable paraphernalia. And then The Back-Alley. He couldn't only spout out the first thing in his mind while remembering there being two of the most well known peacekeepers both behind and holding him down.

"Here?!" Seriously, doing that wasn't going to fly, regardless of their favoritism of him.

"O-Oh c'mon, luv! I'm sure we c'n spin it as self-defense!" Well, at least she realizes I meant I had probably used some form of violence- even if she meant it as a joke. Maybe she would sort of understand it since with was EMILY he had done it for...? He could still hear the stutter in her voice from controlling her emotional outburst before.

"Well... The first part, maybe." Thats true. It probably could count as self defense- even if it involved using himself as bait intentionally... "...But the rest?" He could feel Tracer's hands sort of jerk still, a simultaneous sound (and doubtless look) of confusion racing through both Overwatch agents behind him as the words sunk in.

Yeaaaaaah- Mouth, stop moving please.

I can sympathize with Brian here, cause if someone was stalking some close to me, they gonna know the devil does exist.
