Alright- New Head-Canon (and we're completely ignoring whatever the actual story is/will be for Doomfist): The glove is a hereditary heirloom of mass destruction whose wielders build upon and enhance to their own tastes. It requires a password and DNA within two degrees of relation to match. The Savior and/or Scourge are obviously somehow related to Brian. Somehow.

Does it matter how?

Not particularly. But did they ramble some drunk stories to their slightly more apathetic nephew/grandson?

And I'm sure Widowmaker has an eidetic memory, or close enough to it. Sorry Brian, but getting attention from the fairer sex really is overrated.
