Description

Ignore how everyone's heads are comparatively massive. Its just to... Um... Show the details of their facial features (and hair)... Yeah... That.

Individual Traits

Name: Marina "Via" Arc

Age: Same as Jaune ("Middle" Twin), Youngest Sister

Disposition: Kind, generally happy, easy to get along with, and dislikes arguments for the most part, and soft spoken. Closest to her identical siblings, and their mother, but loves all her family dearly.

Profession: Home-schooled Huntress-in-Training, Studies in Landscaping and Medicine (namely herbs)

Weaponry: Dust-equipped Bo staff, mainly plays support and healing roles, due to semblance.

Aura Level: High-A+ (Lavender in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Light's Gluttonous Conversion, the wounds of all shall feed the Light. An odd semblance capable of healing, although in a rather illogical manner. When used to heal a wound, enemy or ally alike, it will literally "consume" the wound (or perhaps the pain itself, it is unclear) and turn it into additional aura for the user while leaving a healed wound behind. The ability will not differentiate between sides, and will gladly consume any physical injury. Although diseases can be cured, it is significantly (by several magnitudes, putting much of the more difficult maladies out of her range of expertise for a years to come) harder to do so, and actually consumes aura compared to how much it gains from the healing. Any aura generated that exceeds her natural limit, will slowly burn itself off as a radiant, almost holy glow around her body in the color of her aura. This aura can, in fact, be injected into others to supplement their own stores, but is dangerous if done incorrectly. Note: Light's Gluttonous Conversion cannot be used to supplement the aura of a user of Shade's Greedy Aversion due to inherent contrast in affinities (Light vs Dark).

Threat Rank: Mid-A against grimm, High-B against non-grimm (due to nature of support role)

Quirks: The second of the three identical triplets, she is jokingly called the "White Mage" of the Arc family by the gamers within. She is the designated healer due to her semblance, even if she is quite handy with that staff of hers. Usually spends her time when alone in the Arc family garden, that she cares for with her mother and brother. When not there, she is generally with her twin sister (since her brother left for Beacon. They used to join him on his childhood "adventures" all the time, including the meeting of the Malachite twins). Probably one of the least (aside from Jaune) pranked member of the family, via Catherine. When together with Margaret, their tutors call the duo "Violetta" due to their similar (if contrasting) auras.
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Margaret "Letta" Arc

Age: Same as Jaune ("Oldest" Twin), Second-Youngest Sister

Disposition: Happy-go-lucky, but amiable and easy to get along with, tends to join into arguments that don't have any real purpose (its just loud and amusing). Closest to her identical siblings, and Catherine, but loves all her family dearly.

Profession: Home-schooled Huntress-in-Training, Studies in Architecture

Weaponry: A pair of short swords (bordering on large daggers), and a set of throwing knives.

Aura Level: High-A(Byzantium in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Shade's Greedy Aversion, the proof that the dark isn't just for grimm. The semblance seems to grant an assorted array of abilities via shadows and general absence of bright light. The main use seems to be access to a "Shadow World," as described by the user. It seems to be an area, roughly the size of the Arc family's residence (several acres in all, including the yard). The Shadow World can be accessed via any available shadow (including the user's own), and has several qualities to help the user. The three major advantages (thus discovered so far) include accelerated healing when the user is within the Shadow World, along with a strong feeling of comfort when within. Another advantage is that, with enough focus, the user can manipulate the shadows to create items of physical dimensions. As of yet, Margaret Arc is only capable of making knives and swords, but is trying to be able to replicate her family's weaponry to some degree or another. The items generally disappear within seconds of leaving the user's hands (unlimited one-toss knives, though), but can last longer depending on how much aura they pump into it before handing it off (Margaret can currently reach five minutes with a set of throwing knives, but she's getting better with practice) or throwing it. The third ability via the Shadow World is jumping shadows. The user can enter the Shadow World through a shadow, and then locate another shadow to emerge from or leave the same spot they entered. This limits the user to shadows only within a range relative to the size of their Shadow World. Other parties can be dragged along with the user into the Shadow World as long as their are in contact, but anyone left alone inside will be forcefully ejected through the nearest shadow when the user leaves themselves. Dizziness (and probable injury, depending on where they exit) are common traits of being forcefully ejected from the Shadow World. Note: The Shadow World doesn't seem to have any negative side affects on others (aside from being disconcerting to see, and sharp things produced from the shadows), however a user of Light's Gluttonous Conversion will feel distinctly unsettled (though unharmed) when within the Shadow World., due to inherent contrast in affinities (Dark vs Light).

Threat Rank: Mid-A against grimm, High-A against non-grimm

Quirks: Eldest triplet of the Arc family, she is jokingly called the "Rouge" by the family gamers due to her stealth, "shadow melding," and use of short and sharp instruments of pain. She's usually the first one to sneak up on her brother (if Catherine isn't first) and glomp him in greeting, followed shortly by Marina. She spends a lot of her spare time (when not doing anything specific with family) drawing schematics for various ideas she has, occasionally with Gabrielle. When together with Marina, their tutors call the duo "Violetta" due to their similar (if contrasting) auras.
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Catherine "Kitten" Arc

Age: Third-Youngest Sister

Disposition: Happy-go-lucky, fun-loving (until something threatens what she loves), holds grudges (generally petty ones, fixed with a harmless if embarrassing prank), and enjoys gaming. Closest to her baby brother and Margaret, and appropriately intimidated by Jannet, but loves all her family dearly (which doesn't stop her pranks, when applicable).

Profession: Huntress-in-Training (Accelerated In-Field Learning Program), Athlete

Weaponry: Gauntlet-mounted blades (assisted deployment), a pair of daggers, and a set of throwing knives. Able to wield one-handed swords with decent skill.

Aura Level: Low-S (Emerald in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Envious Inattention, like making attention issues an airborne disease. A rather curious semblance in that it's only affects are upon everyone else, and nothing visible from the user itself. The best way to describe the semblance is "nothing to see here, move along." The user is capable of emitting a field (or just they themselves) of sorts, akin to a barrier, that keeps all attention from anything within. It is perfect for stealth, so long as anyone the user is hiding from is not aware of what exactly they are looking for. When the field is first created, anything within that the user wishes to remain hidden will not be seen or even draw attention to themselves once activated. The only way of detecting cloaked individuals is if they come into bodily contact with an unaffected person. If spotted, or seen beforehand, the user need only change their appearance slightly (once out of sight) and they will return to being unnoticed. When multiple people are under the effects of Envious Inattention, they may see the others under the cloak, but only vaguely (aside from the user themselves, who sees everyone plain as day). Note: The only person who seems to be unaffected by this semblance appears to be Jaune Arc, for reasons yet unknown. Unfortunately for the rest of the family and neighborhood, Jaune was quite happy to go along with his big sister's occasional prank and refused to help them locate her so long as she wouldn't miss anything important. As recompense, Jaune didn't have nearly as many humiliating pranks performed on him as the rest of the sisters did, and only had a couple lesser pranks to deal with.

Threat Rank: High-A against Grimm, Mid-S against non-grimm

Quirks: One of the gamers of the family (next to Michelle and Gabrielle), her favorite series, if not obvious, is "Hunter's Oath." She designed her stealthy style and weaponry to mimic her favorite characters, as such her main strengths are against humanoid opponents (and beowolves), as her weapons are much better suited for smaller targets that she can parry and deal appropriate damage to with her somewhat small weaponry. Not so say she can't take down the bigger grimm, she earned her threat ranking for a reason. Just because she loves her family as her world, doesn't mean they're free of the Prank Queen of the Arcs. The only person her semblance has been unable to affect (as of yet) is her brother. Normally, this would put her at risk for being caught after her pranks (well, quicker anyway. Can't run away forever after all), but since the baby of the family is wrapped snugly around so many little fingers he should probably see a chiropractor, he never gets between any of their arguments unless he fears they are actually angry at each other and fears for the bonds of his family. For that, she promised to never to do any of her more creative pranks on him (a whoopee cushion never hurt anyone, and gets a flustered blush for free!), and Marina being just behind him since she's too likable to actually think of possibly hurting her littlest sister's feelings (rare pranks gone wrong tend to lead Catherine to rigorous apologizing and attempting to make up for it).
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Michelle "Mimi" Arc

Age: Fourth-Youngest Sister

Disposition: A little brash and blunt, but has a good sense of humor, and usually willing to help someone better themselves (especially if its her family). Closest to her only brother and Eldest sister, but loves all her family dearly.

Profession: Huntress, Studies in Biology and Dust, Professional Boxer

Weaponry: Anything that can be used with her fists (or hand-to-hand martial arts), prefers a set of dust-friendly implements named "Mighty And Righty" (as shown)

Aura Level: Low-S (Orange in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Fall of Pride, a simple but disarmingly effective ability. There is a chance upon injection of her aura upon a target, if the attack is located on a major nerve cluster, that their nervous system will be scrambled until her aura leaves the system (by force or naturally). When a target is discombobulated by a hit, they will lose just about all form of proper control over that body part (Dust help them if they get hit on the spinal column), and input from the brain turns from "move upwards" to "sometimes left, sometimes down, sometimes nothing at all." The only part of the body that a doesn't seem to be affected by her hits are the brain-case, ear-related organs, and optical nerves. It is thought to be due to some sort of natural fortification of aura in the skull itself, protecting it's contents from all manner of ridiculous injuries humanity seems to get itself in on Remnant. Facial reorganization is still an open possibility, and highly amusing in it's results. Note: Thought to be a a hint of electrical affinity along with the semblance, but there hasn't been any real example of it as of yet.

Threat Rank: Low-S against grimm, Mid-S against non-grimm

Quirks: Interested in hand-to-hand (or foot) martial arts from a young age, she trained rigorously in technique (extreme muscle growth isn't really good for a child, even with aura) and then actual power later on. She is the third most physically powerful member of the immediate Arc family (Father in first, Jannet in second), and also the third shortest (Sophitia coming in second, with Mother being the shortest). She is fully capable of taking on any weapon with her fists (with or without added weaponry to them) alone. Despite her apparent focus on physical aspects, she is surprisingly well studied in the fields of biology and dust, and aims to find a method of further synchronizing the two in the future. If nothing else, she has plans to open a gym or physical therapy business in her hometown to put her studies and experience to use. She is the most likely to be physically rough with her sisters (namely Jaune) on a casual basis. She's not afraid to smack him a good one on the shoulder (not combat-strength, but tis a decent thwack) and some decent bear hugs in greeting. He appreciates that she doesn't treat him akin to glass once they figured that he had some sort of growth impediment. The massages that she and their mother taught him how to perform are well worthy of being thanks. She often challenges herself to go grimm hunting with just her knuckles to see how big a prey she can bring down. The local area is currently free of any ursa or deathstalkers (admittedly, those kind of hurt to punch without weaponry).
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Gabrielle "Gabby" Arc

Age: Fifth-Youngest Sister

Disposition: Kind and polite for the most part, comes off as a bit lazy, but works eagerly for anything that she enjoys, games on her free time. Closest to her little brother, and enjoys drawing and writing alongside Margaret, but loves all her family dearly.

Profession: Part-time Huntress (stay-at-home Huntress, but not fully retired), Creative Writer

Weaponry: Dust-channeling Scimitar "The Spade", proficient at grappling martial arts

Aura Level: Mid-S (Azure in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Dream of the Sloth, a cure of the morning person (for the non-). The semblance is an odd one, with only vague requirements and even more abstract usage. The general basis is control of bodily energy. If for example the user is tired, and someone in the vicinity is bouncing off the walls with unspent energy, the user can literally steal the energy from the other and use it themselves, in turn tiring them out. Can be used en masse between groups, as well. A team running on fumes coming into contact with an fresh enemy can easily be revived by draining the enemy of their stamina. However, the downside of revitalizing a group-to-group is the time required to focus the energy between the different bodies (its a lot faster when its just to oneself. Note: Stamina from grimm is far less efficient, possibly due to biological differences or lack of aura.

Threat Rank: Mid-S

Quirks: She is usually laid back somewhere; gaming, napping, or writing her stories when she isn't fighting grimm or being pampered by her brother. Her focus in writing is generally fiction, but also proof-reads her mother's work before publishing anything. Granted, she usually can't look Jaune in the eye for a day or two after each revision, but that doesn't stop her from letting him fret over her like a mother hen (when mother herself isn't there, anyway). She tends to be a little sloppy when eating, not bothering to wipe her mouth half the time, but at this point it's probably her little brother's fault for all the spoiling her does for the lot of them. On the really slow days, her siblings can sometimes be found napping alongside her (her brother and Sophitia make (un)surprisingly good pillows).
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Sophitia "Sofie" Arc

Age: Sixth-Youngest Sister

Disposition: Sweet, caring, somewhat motherly, but carries the weight of an angry ursa under her smile sometimes. Closest to her brother and Jannet (her only older sibling), but tends to be a secondary caretaker alongside their mother for all the siblings. Loves all her family dearly, nonetheless.

Profession: Huntress, Studies in Psychology (including Child Psychology), Volunteers at local orphanage on occasion.

Weaponry: Always carries a set of whips, one a plain woven metal whip and a blade capable of separating into a segmented blade-whip named "Shambles"

Aura Level: High-S (Yellow in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Dispassionate Lust, see it, want it, doesn't matter. When channeled throughout the user's body they will forcefully draw attention from anyone within immediate line of sight. As soon as the user comes into view, those affected will react in any matter of ways, depending on the strength of the user's aura output, the mental fortitude of the targets, and the mood of the user. Usually, the victims of this semblance will simply be paralyzed with "awe" or "want," and just stand there dumbstruck until the effect is lifted. Some of the stronger of mind will proceed to prostrate themselves and follow any orders given from the object of their attention. Those with the fortitude (or aura levels, if applicable) to overcome the urge to give themselves freely to the user, will find their attention occasionally wavering while still in affected zone. Note: The only ones unaffected seem to be immediate family members (assumedly by blood, not adoption), although Jaune Arc still admits to feeling like giving his sister a hug whenever she activates her semblance. She doesn't disapprove.

Threat Rank: High-S

Quirks: Named after her great grandmother (and having attained some of her genes to boot), she has always been a worry wort when it comes to her siblings (especially Jaune, due to his apparent condition), but not to a level of insufferable smothering (well, until she gives a hug, but thats far from "insufferable"). She's always willing to help her younger siblings learn and helps her mother around the house when not studying or helping at the local orphanage. She is often the "girliest" of the siblings, enjoying the thrills (?) of shopping as any young woman (stereotypically) does. Alongside Jannet and Marina, she is also one of the only ones capable of acting like a proper Lady at social events (rare as they may be). Unfortunately for Jaune, she is also the one that likes to dress him up the most, and he willingly (although with hesitation) joins her romps through the nearest clothes outlet (or closet, if they went recently) to make her happy. This is not limited to male clothes, for the record. He's learned to adapt, though, and his self-image has all but been ignored for the sake of his sisters' happiness. Sophitia is also the one who taught Jaune how to bake (mother having the cooking portion of the lessons).
————————————————————————————————————————
Name: Jannet "Jan/Janne" Arc

Age: First-Born, Eldest Sister

Disposition: Quiet, calm and collected, serious but with a decent sense of humor when matters aren't important, intimidating to everyone aside from her parents and Jaune. Closest to her baby brother, Michelle, and Sophitia, but she protects and loves all her family dearly.

Profession: Huntress, Studies in Dust-Theory

Weaponry: Massive double-edged dust-channeling broadsword "The Spreader", Highly skilled martial artist in multiple styles, always carries pocket-knife.

Aura Level: High-S (Scarlet in color): High levels of aura tends to be passive hereditary trait of Arc line, experience, and/or intense training.

Semblance: Wraith of the Wrathful, an edict of horror for those the user opposes. The semblance is very simple, and takes the old sayings about ghosts quite literally: "You can't touch them, but they can certainly touch you." Anything she injects her aura within (through touch) becomes intangible to any action from what the user views as the "enemy" until her aura is no longer in circulation. Generally, it lets the user completely ignore an opponent's actions, but with the correct mindset, even physical barriers such as walls and blockages can be bypassed. When used by an already High-S level fighter, they become the epitome of a nightmare on the battlefield. Note: Jannet Arc also seems to have a minor secondary affinity for fire through use of her semblance, but isn't thought to be part of Wraith of the Wrathful.

Threat Rank: High-S+

Quirks: Probably the least outgoing of the sisters, she is generally the pillar of strength for the siblings when their parents aren't involved. She was considered a prodigy huntress when she was younger, and seems to breathe and bleed (whenever that rarely happens) combat and strength. Most of her genes seem to have come from her father, aside from her mother's aesthetic appeal, judging by her natural strength and prowess in combat. She is usually the one to sort out her younger siblings when they get too rowdy for their own good and has all their deep seated respect (and fear). She will protect her family with a silent fury the likes of which the world should never witness, and is often considered a "safe zone" for Jaune and Marina when their siblings start really going at it. When the triplets were younger, Jannet was the one most often cradling Jaune off to sleep (Sophitia and mother being the ones usually holding the other triplets, although it wasn't exactly a pattern) and as such seems to have become a bit more protective of him than her other siblings (which is saying something) and was the most vocal when it came to Jaune abruptly stating that he was off the Beacon. He'd evidently snuck around to do such and with him being somewhat kept away from combat (aside from training spars with their parents and training with the neighbor's butler) she was far from happy with the predicament. As such, she had Catherine replace his normal PJs with his favorite onesie (they'd all chip in to get him one for his birthday every year, and he never really saw any reason to be embarrassed since his sisters always commented on how "adorable" it looked on him when winter came around. Eventually, common sense and what little was left of his male ego realized it'd be a bit embarrassing to be seen in public with that on). While the onesie was, in fact, quite good for sleeping in, they were fully aware that it'd make him a laughing stock if he were seen with them in public (as he was bound to be at Beacon). While they weren't exactly happy about essentially excommunicating him from possible friends, it had the much more important job that it should keep any potential girlfriends away from the walking joke that was their precious little brother. Should. Woe befall all female beings who sought to take their Jaune's heart as their own.

Shared Traits

Familial Relation(s):

   • Brother: Jaune Arc
   • Mother: Marietta Arc (nee Guertena)
   • Father: Alexander Arc
   • Maternal Grandmother: Pyrrha Guertena (nee Alexandra)
   • Maternal Great Grandmother: Sophitia Alexandra
   • Distant Cousins: Namikaze Clan

Gender: Female

Semblance Syncing

    • The Sin-nergy: Possibly due to being so closely related, or just due to sheer luck of the draw, many of the sister's semblances can combine and work in tandem for exemplary results. For example, should Sophitia and Jannet work together (termed "Bondage Breaker"), Sophitia could easily entrance the target(s) and Jannet would rip through them with abandon since they'll not even move to run away. Michelle and Gabrielle ("Dropped Sleeper") are easily able to slow the target down and disorient them for quick and easy capture. Note: They are not limited to two sisters working together, and when more than two are actively using their semblance in near proximity to each other, their auras turn a much darker shade than usual.

    • Synchronicity Event: Only achieved when in range of Jaune's Cast of Grace semblance. Likely due to being of the same blood, when Cast of Grace is activated at stage two or three in their immediate vicinity, the sisters receive extended bonuses compared to other allies in the affected area. Alongside sprouting a pair of wings to match their brother's state, their passive boosts to base stats are far more extensive.

And thus She spoke unto him: "As Mortal, you have your Folly, and your imperfection. But I gift unto you the Power: The strength granted by bonds with others. And with these bonds, will come your Seven Sentinels to protect you and your bonds, even with your flaws to hinder you. They shall be to you what Aura is to This Remnant." And thus, the Sentinels descended to him in the form of his closest of bonds, and his Follies quaked at their presence.

Arc's Seven Sisters

Oh dear lord what in the name of the Fruit Cake did I spend almost an hour (in all) typing up...!? So much pointless effort.... Ah well.

Finally decided to put faces to the sisters I drew that one time. People kept saying "too much reference to Assassin's Creed!" but they didn't seem to realize that Ubisoft didn't create hoodies! Foo'.

Either way, I shoved so many f*cking references in here, I forget whats what. Merry Christmas I suppose!

I wonder if there's an explanation to why jaune didn't get any form of training or went to combat school in this universe.
