Background!



    The triplets of the Arc family were practically inseparable when they were younger. They'd play together, eat together, bathed together (for a couple years, anyway), and shared the same bedroom. Margaret would normally be the one to take charge in leading their plans earlier on, although Jaune stepped up a bit in later years. Marina was always the soft spoken one that would gladly follow the other two, so long as both Margaret and Jaune agreed on the idea. Although they made sure that if she didn't like the idea, or seemed nervous, they wouldn't go through with it, no matter how much they wanted to. They loved playing with their elder sisters, who would always watch after them alongside mother when they went out to play in the fields, or near the forests around their home. Grimm, despite what experts believe, can in fact learn lessons given by humans. Specifically an angered Jannet and Mary guarding their youngest set. The last attack was when they were five, and the local Grimm now actively run like hell if they ever spot the three together (even when older).

    As they got older, Jaune started venturing out without the other two thirds more often. Although they still spent the majority of the day together, Jaune was obviously a boy (the only one aside from Father, actually) and his habits were a little different than his identical sisters as should be expected. This led to him gaining his other non-combat related skills while Margaret and Marina only acquired some, given their lack of interest in one subject or the other. Despite the occasional wandering he'd do on his own, at the end of the day (or in the middle) the three would always end up together, occasionally teaching their other halves what they may have learned that they thought useful or just hanging out as siblings do. Jaune once tried to teach them how to give a massage (he thought it was useful, as it brought smiles to his sisters), but the only thing that ended up happening was a new habit of them asking for one before heading off to bed (as Mother decided that at some point, the girls and Jaune should have separate rooms. You can only be so comfortable watching your brother or sister changing in front of you, right?). Evidently, massages before sleep make the dreams better or something.

    There have been claims of "twin (triplet?) telepathy" at play, but it seems spotty at best. There are moments where the three are just sitting there, talking casually, and then they're just staring at each other and smiling, before resuming talk seamlessly. Other times one of the three will get hurt or startled severely, such as tripping and scraping an elbow or knee, and their missing member(s) will almost immediately charge into the area, looking for the problem. On one such occasion, Margaret had tripped and taken Marina down with her by accident near the foot of the stairs, leading to a painful pile at the bottom. Within ten seconds they were being fretted over by Jaune, who they could have swore was sparring with Michelle in the backyard not thirty seconds previously. Another moment was when one of the school bullies was picking on Jaune, accusing him of being girly for having seven sisters (although everyone else thought he was just jealous because he found them attractive), and pushed him into a locker rudely. Marina and Margaret, who had been halfway down the adjacent hall and out of sight, took all of thirty seconds to send the punk to the clinic with something broken.

    Jaune didn't get picked on after that, but Marina and Margaret soon found the rest of the male population shying away from them for the rest of the year. None of the three were disappointed by this. The lone brother didn't feel any of the punks were good enough for his sisters anyway. They could do much better.

    Oddly, Jaune found the majority of his female peers (aside from a certain pair of befriended twins, and some of the older students) gaze at him from a distance, but pale drastically and just about run when he approached them... Ah well- He was too young for a girlfriend, anyway. His sisters said so!
